Customer Service Representative – Floater (Full-time)
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide a wide range of teller services, including opening new accounts, for our customers while providing an amazing customer experience. Becoming a Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a great way to get a glimpse into the broad world of finance and banking.
As a Floater CSR/New Accounts Representative you will operate a teller window and provide prompt, efficient and accurate customer service while representing the Bank in a courteous, professional manner. This position is full-time with an expectation to work 40 hours per week and every other Saturday. Reliable transportation is required as you will travel to any of the RVR Bank locations. You will predominately travel between our Parkview Office, Downtown Office, Main Office, and our Walmart Office. You will occasionally travel between our Arlington Office and Blair Office.
Hours: Monday-Friday hours of operation of offices. Saturdays are on a every other rotation of 7:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. This position travels between branches as assigned to assist customers with a variety of transactions.
Essential Job Duties:
- Opens and maintains a cash drawer.
- Processes customer transactions, including receiving deposits, verifying cash and endorsements, and issuing receipts, installment loan payments, making withdrawals, cashing checks, scanning work, and providing customer account printouts and open consumer and business deposit new accounts independently, efficiently, and accurately.
- Reconciles mail drop and night depository.
- Investigates discrepancies and makes corrections as needed.
- Prepares cashier’s checks, money orders, gift cards as requested.
- Balances transactions at the end of the day and verifies cash totals.
- And other miscellaneous duties as needed.

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service and money handling experience preferred, but willing to train successful candidates.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stand, walk, carry, and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to lift heavy amounts of coins (=50 lbs.).

Customer Service Representative – Fremont Branch (Part-time)
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide a wide range of teller services for our customers while providing an amazing customer experience. This position is part-time and based in Fremont, NE. Becoming a Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a great way to get a glimpse into the broad world of finance and banking.
The hours of the CSR (Part-time) position are every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday, 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. and every other Saturday, 7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Some additional hours may be available, but not to exceed 30 hours.

Essential Job Duties:
- Provides outstanding customer service.
- Opens and maintains a cash drawer.
- Provides a complete range of customer services, including receiving deposits, verifying cash and endorsements, and issuing receipts, installment loan payments, making withdrawals, cashing checks, scanning work, and providing customer account printouts.
- Prepares cashier checks, money orders, and gift cards as requested.
- Maintains proper cash management procedures, including counting and balancing cash drawers.
- Promotes Bank products and services, including opening new accounts, explaining available products and services, and gathering customer information to process new and existing accounts.
- Stays abreast of all campaigns and promotions.
- Assists customers with their day-to-day financial needs.
- Adheres to all bank policies and procedures regarding security, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Opens and closes office by following established security procedures.
- Completes duties assigned to the office.
- And other miscellaneous duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Strong math skills, including the ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately.
- Word processing and computer database skills.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing.
- Basic understanding and the ability to operate various office equipment such as: typewriter, printers, computers, fax, adding machine and copy machine.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a teller or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. of coin.
- Ability to be flexible as needed.
