Teller, Bilingual in Spanish & in English preferred – Downtown Office (Full-time)
We are currently seeking a full-time teller, bilingual in Spanish & in English preferred, that will operate a teller’s window by providing prompt, efficient and accurate customer service while representing the Bank in a courteous, professional manner. Responsible for balancing all financial transactions performed during work shift. Tellers are cross-trained on opening new accounts once a mastery of teller skills have been demonstrated. This position plays an essential role in finding the right solutions to meet customers’ needs.
Becoming a teller is a great way to get a glimpse into the broad world of finance and banking. Tellers project a professional image in dress, manner and communication and must also comply with all bank policy, regulations, and laws.
Hours: Hours will vary between 8:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Essential Job Duties:
- Open and maintain a cash drawer.
- Process customer transactions, including receiving deposits, verifying cash and endorsements and issuing receipts, installment loan payments, making withdrawals, cashing checks, scanning work and providing customer account printouts and open new accounts.
- Prepares cashier’s checks, money order’s, gift cards as requested.
- Balances transactions at the end of the day and verifies cash totals.
- And other miscellaneous duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Basic understanding and the ability to operate various office equipment such as: Typewriter, Printers, Computers, Fax, Adding machine and Copy machine.
- Strong communication skills (verbal/written).
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous sales and money handling experience preferred, but willing to train successful candidates.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. of coin.
- Ability to be flexible as needed.

Floater Teller (Full-time)
As a Floater Teller/New Account Representative with RVR Bank you will be responsible for providing customers with prompt, efficient and accurate customer service while representing the Bank in a courteous, professional manner. This position will also serve as a back-up to New Accounts as needed, performing a variety of customer service. This includes opening new checking, savings and certificate of deposit accounts, closing deposit accounts, answering questions from existing and prospective customers, and answering and transferring calls. Work is varied in nature with changing priorities. This position is full-time with an expectation to work 40 hours per week and every other Saturday.
Reliable transportation is required. You will travel to any of the RVR Bank locations. You will predominately travel between our Parkview Office, Downtown Office, Main Office and our Walmart Office. You will occasionally travel between our Arlington Office and Blair Office. You will relieve tellers who are absent in whatever capacity at the location needed and work the hours of that location. This position requires extensive knowledge of all teller operations and flexibility in the performance of teller duties. Exercise independent judgement in some instances under limited supervision.
Essential Functions:
- Provides outstanding customer service.
- Open and maintain a cash drawer.
- Provides a complete range of customer services, including receiving deposits, verifying cash and endorsements and issuing receipts, installment loan payments, making withdrawals, cashing checks, scanning work and providing customer account printouts independently, efficiently and accurately.
- Prepares cashier’s checks, money order’s, gift cards as requested.
- Balances transactions at the end of the day and verifies cash totals.
- Promotes Bank products and services, including opening new accounts, explaining available products and services and gathering customer information to process new and existing accounts.
- Stays abreast of all campaigns and promotions.
- Assists customers with their day-to-day financial needs.
- Opens and closes office by following established security procedures.
- Completes duties as assigned to the Branch.
- And other miscellaneous duties as needed.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service and money handling experience preferred, but willing to train successful candidates.
Knowledge/Experience:
- Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills.
- Strong math skills.

Teller (Main Office Drive-Thru) (Part-time)
We are currently seeking a part-time teller to provide prompt, efficient, accurate customer service while giving a warm welcome as the face of the Bank. This position provides an individual, with a non-traditional schedule, the ability to work in a culture that will provide growth and development. Responsible for balancing all financial transactions performed during work shift.

Hours: Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Every other Saturday 7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
